After Sales Installation and Service Manager

As a result of an internal transfer, a vacancy has arisen for an After Sales Installation & Service Manager. The primary function of this role is to provide leadership to the Installation, Service and Spares teams to ensure that the delivery of service and quality to our customers meets the Company’s high standards and the customers’ expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the Installation, Service and Spares teams to ensure that the delivery of service and quality to our customers meets the Company’s high standards and the customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure that the installation and commissioning of equipment on customer sites is completed to specification and on time.
  • Ensure that the equipment maintenance, repairs, and servicing are completed efficiently, to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Ensure that the After-Sales team provide excellent service and technical support to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their after-sales needs are met and that issues that may arise are resolved quickly.
  • Ensure that accurate records of after-sales activities are captured and maintained.
  • Generate reports and provide updates on the activities of the department.
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are in place and maintained.
  • Ensure that all certification, licences, and permits are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO9001:2015 quality management system and all after-sales procedures.
  • From time to time, you may be required to travel to customers’ sites’, within the UK and internationally, to attend to any matters requiring attention.

Requirements :

  • The successful candidate will be someone who has managerial experience in after sales or service management, or in a similar role within the manufacturing, engineering, agricultural or automotive sectors.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to solve problems and resolve customers issues quickly and effectively.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and the ability to implement and maintain aftersales processes.
  • An understanding of import/export procedures, documentation and regulations would be advantageous.
  • A full passport and a UK driving licence is required.
