Spilsby-based vegetable handling equipment manufacturer Tong Engineering has been named Employer of the Year at the Spilsby Recognition Awards hosted by Spilsby Town Council.
The award was presented to Charles Tong and Edward Tong, who accepted the honour on behalf of the whole Tong team.
Recognising Tong’s commitment to its employees, workplace culture and ongoing investment in recruiting and developing a highly skilled workforce within its state-of-the-art production facility in Spilsby, the Employer of the Year award also acknowledged the company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals by encouraging and supporting young local people to get into engineering careers.
Edward Tong, Managing Director at Tong Engineering explained: “We are incredibly proud to receive this award. This award reflects the dedication and commitment of our whole team.”
